PlayConnect ("we", "our", "us") operates the PlayConnect mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.

• Account information: email address, phone number, username, and profile photo you provide when signing up.
• Location data: approximate or precise location, used only to show nearby sports activities on the map.
• Activity data: activities you create, join, or host, and your participation history.
• Usage data: how you interact with the App, for the purpose of improving features and fixing bugs.
• Device data: push notification tokens, used to send you relevant updates about your bookings and activities.

How We Use Your Information

• To show you sports activities near your location
• To connect you with other players and let you join or host activities
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and activity updates
• To improve the App's features and fix technical issues

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your profile information (username, photo, reputation score) is visible to other users of the App as part of the social features (leaderboard, activity participants, chat). We use trusted third-party services to operate the App, including Firebase (Google) for our database and authentication, and OneSignal for push notifications. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You can review, update, or delete your account information at any time from the Settings screen in the App. To request full deletion of your data, contact us using the email below.

Children's Privacy

PlayConnect is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
